I was exactly like you five years ago. My wife speaks Spanish and I had learned Spanish for 6 years only to hit a wall. “Sorry, can you repeat?” was the only interaction I got from native speakers. From the frustration sparked an obsession. I studied Spanish day and night, mimicking rhythms, swallowing pride with every mispronounced word. Months later, my accent was fooling even my in-laws, I realized: the key wasn’t perfection but confidence.
